Legendary British racing driver sir Stirling moss died after a long illness, reports the BBC.
Moss is considered one of the greatest racers of Formula 1 in history, although he never was world champion.
The racer won 16 of the 66 races of the Formula 1, in which participated from 1951 to 1961.
From January 2018 due to ongoing health problems moss ceased to appear in public, and since then his life little was known. He spent 134 days in the hospital after suffering infection while on holiday in Singapore in December 2016.
Earlier it was reported that the current season in Formula-1 can start without an audience.
