Lomachenko apologized for calling to make crosses on the door: “It was a fake. I’m sorry!”

WBA and WBO lightweight division Vasyl Lomachenko explained why he removed a religious post, in which he called for Orthodox Christians to draw crosses on the doors of homes.

“I apologize to all the Orthodox. Previous post I had to check through a reliable source, and then upload it.

I removed it due to the fact that this information was the fake. Once again, sorry. And God save us all,” wrote Lomachenko.

Recall the previous post Vasyl Lomachenko, later deleted, were as follows:

“The Holy fathers of mount Athos today, I urge all Orthodox Christians to make the cross on the back doors of houses. If you do not have a cross, you can do it with your finger, dip it in olive oil. This is serious, as yesterday was celebrated in the Chapel of the Mother of God and these instructions were given (open) the mother of God of the monks on the Holy mountain”, – was said in the post Vasyl Lomachenko, who later had them removed

After the apology Vasyl Lomachenko members now jokingly ask him in Instagram: “So what now with a cross of oil on a door do?”
