Peter Yang josé Aldo will contest the vacant title Bantamweight UFC weight

At the moment, the Bantamweight division of the UFC was left without a champion, but the promotion soon will fix it.

According to UFC President Dana white, matchmaker organizations are now actively working to organize a title match in the 135-lb between the former Featherweight champion josé Aldo and Russian Peter Jahn.

“I’m going to spill the beans right here and now, and my people are probably gonna kill me for this,” said white in an interview with ESPN. – “Cejudo retired, so we are now discussing a fight Peter Jan and josé Aldo for the vacant title. We have neither the place nor the date for this fight, but this is the battle in which we are interested”.

We will remind, 33-year-old Aldo is a series of two defeats, losing to the current champion of the 145-pound Alex Volkanovski and former contender for the title of lightest weight to Marlon Moraes. It is also worth noting that Jose was supposed to fight Henry Cejudo at UFC 249, but because of the quarantine and ban on entry in the US, the promotion had to replace Dominick Cruz.
