This day in history: Vladimir Klitschko effectively knocked out Eddie chambers in the final seconds of the 12th round

Exactly ten years ago – March 20, 2010 – Wladimir Klitschko in düsseldorf (Germany) held a successful defense of their title of world champion under versions IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight champion winning a spectacular victory by knockout in the last seconds of the 12th round of the fight against American Eddie chambers.

Chambers was the mandatory Challenger for the WBO, before that, defeating the former world champion Samuel Peter and the first number of the rating WBO Alexander Dimitrenko.

Vladimir dominated during the whole match. Eddie chambers tried to introduce the confusion in the actions of Vladimir with wrestling techniques. In the second round, Klitschko held a powerful right cross that rocked the chambers. Eddie not being able to properly recover and Vladimir to impose their scenario of the match. Klitschko regularly reported heavy blows to the head chambers, and in the end of the 12th round (14 seconds before the end of the round) sent chambers into a heavy knockout with the left hook.
