“It is clear that I have to rest for a few days. But we have laid a good Foundation for the preparation and I come to the first Grand Prix of the season completely ready. I intend to maintain the intensity of training, but health comes first. Will have to sit at home,” said Vinales in an interview with Radio Catalunya.
MotoGP cancelled the first four rounds of the season 2020 because of the epidemic of the coronavirus. Vinales hopes that the championship will begin on may 3 at Jerez: “If the calendar will have to be reduced, it is necessary to do it. We need to adapt to the situation.
